For the Art/FNN&DNT students, Time to submit your finalised coursework soon I guess, For the pure sciences students, remember to mug on your analystic table for the solubility of salts as well as the change in colours for various acids for your SPA!

For the 'N' level students, give your full shot!

For the juniors, time to revise your past semster work for common test 3 (I think so) and End-Of-Year examinations.

Seasonal flu since H1N1 broke out, so please eat more fruits and vegetables, drink more water and exercise more( to kill fats) ! Have ample rest and and, be in the optimistic mood always! I guess it do helps!

Wei Jin, try to overcome all the emotional negative feelings. I know it's not esay cus I went through it. But then, since time can never goes back and since it had happened,take it gracefully and make plannings and move on from there. My teacher always tells me that everything happen for a reason, but it's unknown to us sometimes, so let go of your burden and study triply harder than now.

Everybody doesn't like theory including me! That's why I got a C5 for FNN. But then, for sake of studyig, you still have to study, so go for your fullest! Now I know why alot people can do maths because you don't need to memorise! Manipulating with chunks and loads of symbols and numbers and equations.

Have a good refresh over the weekend by either go out for a walk or ask me out to chat with me and have a lunch or dinner with me and recharge yourself for the next up coming week of study camp. Always think of positive things for new hopes in LIFE! Trust me, it's not worth you thinking of bad things. I've not been in this dilemma since I gave up in Mid April and now happily disturbing teachers and friends whenever I go to school everyday and almost everyday are in laughters and fun~~ I know what's your problem, you can survive better without any friends more than anything. Don't feel left out or what. Because your true friends may not be the one who always beside you, but in your heart! (:

Am back to blog, with thanks to WeiJin, spamming on the cbox, pestering me to blog here with my pictures. Well, am using my desktop instead of laptop, so no pictures of myself except for one later for the bottom sign off one~ Hahas ;D

Been back to YuYing these 2 days. TO DO HOMEWORK and to collect back my comprehension. Saw Mdm Zhou today and she told me got camp leh! So happy larh! And I've been high for this whole week! In fact, I've been laughing really out loud and hard that I almost cry larh! Hahas ;D Colleagues at General Office are really nice, the aunties who have never fail to make me laugh with their jokes every single time I went in. And I was so high for today!

School was hectic for me when I have had English lesson for over 4 hours but was fun! My EL teacher knew it will be dead bored to sit there 4 hours (since 7am) plus for oral, compre and summary. So she thought of a few jokes to entertain us every one hour! So I was like the only girl there as the rest did not turn up. With the ratio of 1:12 boys. Pro huh! Hahas, and I laughed the loudest and hardest till the rest are well affected by me and start laughing out loud with me. Hahas, now you know laughters are contagious huh! So stay away if I ever laugh next time, you will never be able to bear with me, without laughing! Hahas ;DD After EL is my break of 30mins and went back to Biology until 230pm! It's indeed hard to maintain not distracting oneself. Hahas ;D Then I went back YuYing without lunch, cux I want my papers back (: Grab a hashbrown hurrily and vroom, I ran to GO. Hahas.

Thinking back, much things happened to myself lately and I've been down on spirit. I did not regretting wasting one year now, here, taking privately. Becus I find my life now, fulfilling than before. Despite the fact that I've to balance my family, my work, my private school work, my extra lesson on Saturday, my housechores and my personal stuff; I find it more busier than ever, but I'm satisfied with the current state I'm in. After straightening out my thinkings with thanks to one of my closest adult I had reached out too, I began to think really positively! She told me this:

Follow your heart and ask it whenever you've doubts. Listen to what it says and what it thinks. Happiness and freedom can be final when you really be able to make the right move when you think, IS CORRECT and IS WHAT YOU WANT. It's not easy to make a decision that will pain-stakingly hurt yourself in the process, but however, the short-term injury will recover faster than the long term one, so why not cut short the misery and do more things that are more meaningful to yourself and be happy?

Make sense? I hope so. Well, this is what I've learn it new so far up till here. Indeed it's not easy to make a decision. It's not easy to make a decision, where YOU WILL NEVER REGRET IN LIFE! So, I'm quite glad that I did not make the wrong move this year. (: Perhaps, this is the best arrangement for myself right now.

To further elaborate, I'll share another example of myself with all of you. Hope you people won't find me naggy! :P

Since young,I've never had a target in life, don't know what to do, what to be in future. I've also never love studying at all, except for my favourite subjects, Chinese, FNN and DNT; where you get on more hands-on-work. Chinese is my best language,that explains. Ever since PSLE result released, I learnt what is content with life. With a score of only 194, I persuaded my mama to let me get into YuYing, for I don't why so too as I persisted. Then, I started my journey back in 2005, with the friendship with Mrs.Pang, soon, school been enjoyable for me. After which, I indulged myself in FNN and SLC, where it really sparks my passion in. After that, I began to get know of more teachers that teaches me different things as individual teachers thinking begs to differ. Mrs Pang had taught me so much that over the past 4 years, I couldn't had thank her enough. Although so, I've not been prioritising my time better than how I'm now! CCA is all I prioritise and do! Study is for the sake of putting adults off my way, perstering for a result. So, I did not put in my effort whole-heartedly. Till I failed my O'level and needs to repeat another year, then I start to think again. So right now here, a point for WeiJin, Yes, lessons are indeed boring and tiring, life in city may not be able to compared with being in the remote village that relaxing. However,without looking at the negative side of study, I'm sure you can study better! Look at your FNN MYE, you did not put in your heart to study and got a 40/100, so what if you studied? You'll score maybe a 60? From a F9 to a C5-6 is not easy! So treasure the chance you have it now and not to end up be with like me! For me I did not regret! Because I'm able to learn new things in life, that others may not be able to learn it. So what if I stayed back another year? I make a detour and walk further and more tedious to get back to the same destination everyone will be going, but with more knowledge and experience, so, why not? Why give up the whole forest for just s stalk of flower? Does it worth it?The flower will wilt anytime. WeiJin, I knew you had the sense of satisfaction upon completing the coursework, must continue to jia you ok! It's the sense of satisfaction in life, that push me up till so far with the support of alot nice teachers and friends!

And, why do people only do things when they've a motive? I don't know leh, but for me, I do what I think I want. So when I miss my juniors, I seriously miss them in their good ways and naughty side! The fun times and the scolding times, it's really worth reminiscing it now and I did not regret joining SLC,joining YuYing at all, because YuYing is where we are like a big family, SLC is where, ALL MY LOVE IN! (:

To end, I hope all of you are satisfied with your MYE result, if not, reflect, where went wrong.

Did you not study hard enough?

Did you prioritise your time well?

Did you listen in class?

Did you manage your time well?

Did you do your practises regularly? It's not the matter of finishing your homework, but to keep practising till you can do it backwards.

To the sec 4s seniors, ALL THE VERY VERY BEST from the seniors of 2008 for your Mother Tongue papers! Don't let the effort of the MT department teachers' go down to the drain.

Believe in yourself that you can do it,

YOU DEFINITELY CAN DO IT!

A big big congrats to all of you! Most of you by then have managed to complete the MYE,surviving till Monday,the last paper!

Hahas ;D Anyway, had changed the blogskin, so do comments on it so I can improve further arh! I'm died up, doing a blog takes me 1hr25mins! Changing and editing and previewing! With the tons of HMTL codes! Tues is marking day, so enjoy the only school holiday when it's not yet school holidays!

Sec 4s Seniors taking the Mother Tongue paper, ALL THE BEST! You guys are taking it in another 2 weeks plus! Hope all of you will pass above a B3! Jia Yous! Dont get stress up, take it normally! For the few whom I knew took it last year, don't be too happy yet! Study for other subjects! I'm sure all of you will have a lot of Sub-Supplementary Programmes in the Holidays! Hahas ;D Cus I'm pestering for some too! All over in Singapore! :D

To the rest; after reading this, properly I will have to disappear for the next half a year in both SLC events and other things as something happened and I've been doing self-reflection and so I've some personal reasons for doing so. Hope all of you won't probe me the question yet, as I always told all of you, I'll always be either an email away, a call/sms away or at the library after 5pm, so I'll still lend all of you my support, listening ear! Talk to me if anyone of you feels bad in school or anything! (: I'll be forever there for everyone of you in SLC! Still, feedbacks and comments are welcome for the new skin! Letme know! (:

Dearest members, we've almost ended off the 1st semester CCA activities yesterday with my babysitting all of you as Mrs.Pang was busy, except for the event on 26th May which is after your Mid-Year-Examinations. You people are great with your balloon making yesterday! Good job and keep it up! Throughout, I noticed, Sheryl is a very good and keen learner! She picked up things very fast and keep practising. Also, despite the fear for balloons,Suryani never stop learning how to twist the balloons and recollection of how to make it. Good job, my dearest juniors. I've found a few skins for the blog. Shall change it after my mid-year-exams which ends on the 10th of May before I go for my holidays in Malaysia and Genting ya!Muhahahahahahaha. Anyway, Jiayous for the mid-year-exam and I shall see all of you around in school.

I'm like cracking out my brain to look for this type of "reflectional, emo and sort of nature pictures?" Hahahas, I can't be uploading my own picture here right!

Anyway, just a couple of things. Karen had started to take up some of the activities planning when I went back to see all of you on last Friday. After which, we met randomly in the canteen and she began to tell me" MeiYi, it's not easy to get the whole club together and especially when they're engaged in their own conversation!

Then I told her that she was once in that situation when I was around leading the club and she looked guilty-licious and promise me she will do the planning properly.

Although SLC will be left with less than 10 memebers, I still sincerely hope that Karen and other EXCOs members, will hand in hand leads the club well, plan the activities well and also as well, concentrate in studies. I know it's not an easy task because I was once in that whole-heartedly. But then, as long as you give your best and full shoot, I'm sure your hard work and effort will pay off!

As for the rest;

Sec 4s, please put in your very best for the prelims! Go all the best you can! I'm currently having mid-year-exam too,so most of you will see me back in school studying cus Mr Neo can help me! :P AS well as, those who wants to study with me, best is you can sign for studying in the library after 5pm so that I can work too! :P :P

Is there any camp in June? I want to go too! But then my holidays will be the 3rd week of May leh! Hahas ;D Current EXCOs, please let me know!

The juniors: Jia you for the MYE! After that, all of you will be able to have 1 month holidays! The June holidays! Jia You Jia You!

To Karen: I'm starting to have faith in you as soon as you took up the planning and discussed with the club, that's a very good start, although you're still young at planning, but slowly, you'll be able to get up with the planning! Just remembered what Mrs Pang had said, "Always give plannings with questions and suggestions and best, with explanations why you will like the plannings to be in such a way." You can don't know anything and keep asking, but just don't stop there. You can ask Mrs. Pang as she's your "boss" for now that you've to get back to her with alot of planning. You can also seek Mdm Zhou's advices and suggestions on how you can get things done. I'm sure they'll be the ones that welcome you the most when you needs them! Alright? Give your full shot and don't let me down. I hope this is not a stress point for you, just want to boost you on as well as to let you know what I'm thinking of you! Jia You!

Greetings to all! :)

Hellohello all!

Anyway, I'm here today to blog for SLC and and and, I guess to blog about Chinese New Year dinner, which is so yesterday, I guess not. Hahaha.

Today is the start of school, and everyone is probably feeling dead and having thoughts like "Gahhh, school is now like 40mins per lesson and I'll probably die soon or something." Hahah, but look on the bright side, you could do alot more in class and perharps spend more time with your friends?

To do work and not play of course.

Well, but no one can really sit on a chair for hours completely without moving yeaah? Spend your time wisely and instead of making noises in class, why not use the chance to finish up some work or something.

Hahah, okay I sound like I'm nagging.

Anyway, SLC is always having outings with elderly and it's probably not all the fun and action-packed but, I still choose to believe that, helping others is also a form of happiness and fun! :)

Treat others the way you want others to treat you.

It's very important to respect others yeaah?

SLC has room for improvements and it has taken a big step! :) Cheers! At least there's effort to have constant updates for this blog. It doesn't have to be all long and texty post, but just a simple short post to find out about the rest would be fine.

In years to come, I'm sure SLC won't be just any lousy CCA. At least it will have it's acchievement. :D

In fact, I'm sure we have already contributed alot to the society.

The 2007-2008 ex chairlady, ME is back to blog!

Well,I guess most of you will bug me for my 'O' level points. Sadly and 'shamefully' , I got a 30 points.Well, Mrs.Pang always said not to score too high in 'O' and score high for normal papers. But which I always do it oppositely... Well, guilty of that.Anyway, I guess most probably I will repeat 'O' level privately again.Means=home schooling for some of us who know. That's not the end of the world;well,I'm not those type will die easily de~~ ANyway~ I'm not afraid to share or feel shameful since the result is out and it's already set!

Don't be thinking I will be shameful for my results ok! I will still go out to collect Ang Pows (MORE THIS YEAR;Hopefully!)during new year and relatives ask,just answer lor. Nothing Shameful mah! I will still SMILE broadly and answer! Be Cheerful positive! Of course,I will also join you people for the 7th Feb Dinner in school with the AMK Blk 203 Elderly! How can you count me out for this voluntary fun?! There's time to play and study. Of course,to say and to do is two different things;JUST YOU PEOPLE wait and SEE!

Why bothers what others think when you don't need their approval to do anything?(I think probably Mrs.Loretta Goh and Mrs.Pang will share the same mind as I do as my CME teacher and my mentor who never fail to share new things with me in life for big and small things. =] ) There's always ups and downs in life. You just have to look forward and get on with life with all the "humps" in life. That's life. So miserably irritating with "HUMPS"! That's something I learn from a book;however,I forgot the title!

Anyway,that's my sharing above. Comments and sharings are welcome in Cbox or as a post. Just dont be sarcastic ok! Heehee :D Anyway, I shall get on life now, gotta to STUDY Double-ly hard now and I'll be double-ly positive with obstacles now and I do welcome them to be part of my life. Well, millions and zillions of thanks to you for all these years; the effort,the hard work and the "juicy" racking brains of yours that provide me with millions endless of ideas whenever I'm planning or doing my coursework or even going to the competitions! The "juicy" brain of yours has given me lotsa of ideas and suggestions and even funny ideas! You've been a nice teacher-incharge to me and a temper-less Bio teacher that made me felt unfair when I sees people bullying you. But then, the nice nice you have never gave up on anyone of us. No matter how bad we have done. In SLC,you're always such a calm and nice teacher that you manage to calm almost all of us down when we are in a whirl! I thank you for the everything you have done for us and for me;personally!

Lots of love for the above teachers that had once and for all had an impact in my life!For these 4 years and my future! :D

HEY!! its been a long long time since the SLC blog got updated. Now there is a newly revamped SLC blog!! WHEE!!

Firstly:
SLC's old Executive Committee (Ex-Co) will be leaving. [sad :( ]
SLC has a new Ex-Co. [YAY!! :)]
SLC has a new Teacher-In-Charge. [YAY!! :)]

OK! The old ex-co comprises of:
Mei Yi (Chair lady)
Boon Kiat (Chairman) [we had 2 chair people because of the merge between SLC and green club.]

The new ex-co now comprises of:
Kokila (Chair lady)
Yi Ling (Vice-Chair lady)
Thavan (Secretary)
Xiao Xia (Treasurer)\
Sabina (Working Committee)

The Teachers-in-charge are:
Mrs Pang
Mrs Peh (however due to unforeseen circumstances, Mrs Peh will be leaving SLC at the end of 2008. we will all miss her)

In A Nutshell!!

What SLC has done so far:

Visit to Changi Airport Terminal 3 with Elderly of BLK 203
We brought the elderly of Ang Mo Kio, BLK 203, to Changi Airport's new terminal: Terminal 3. Yuying Secondary's Parent Support Group(PSG) was very compassionate and joined us in our big event.The students, teachers, parents and elderly enjoyed a fun day out at Terminal 3 where they got to see the new facilities. We also went to the viewing gallery and played a exuberant game of Bingo. Many of the senior citizens won prizes and enjoyed this segment. After this outing we carried out an evaluation and found out that almost all of the elderly had enjoyed their time with us and wanted to be involved in more activities with us. Therefore this led to SLC celebrating Mid-Autumn Festival with them.

Mid-Autumn Festival Celebration with Elderly of BLK 203
SLC celebrated the Mid-Autumn Festival at Yuying Secondary School. Once again the busy parents of Yuying's PSG took time off to come and join in our celebrations.We started off by giving all the elderly a goodie bag. This was followed up by a game of Pass The Parcel. The elderly were not asked to perform any forfeits, and were just rewarded with the parcels/prizes that they had the good fortune to receive. After this we played an all-time favourite game of BINGO!! This game resulted in a lot of winners. This was followed by a game of Match It! This was a new game that was suggested by a few SLC members. It was a simple game where 2 cards were opened and if they were the same they were left opened whereas if they were different, they were closed. One of the groups which had 5 players won and all the members were awarded prizes for their speed and teamwork. A scrumptious dinner that was prepared by the school canteen vendors was appreciated and praised by everyone. The final event of the night was a lantern walk where all the participants, ranging from the students to teachers to parents to elderly all enjoyed the peaceful night.

OK! That is all the major events that has taken place in the past 4 months.

Reflection:
During this whole camp alot of things have happened
from bad to gd, gd to bad...
i have learnt about alot things
example:Ballon sculpturing(practising)
other than that have learn quite a number of value in life
throughout the camp i finally know that
in order to make a whole programme really works,
alot of hard works need to be put in the 1st place
and other than that great planning is also important too
on top of that i know that only 1 leader leading in certain event
is really important as if there are too many voices
there will be confusion to all members
that's what i have learnt from the trip to changi airport terminal 3
while for the events in school,
i found out and learnt more about our club motto and tagline
though i make e game out but to me it's a whole new thing too
lots of words which i think that it doesn't make sense actually does
when i make the game out...
when during the show drumline,
i learn somethings from the movie too
though someone maybe very talented in a very certain stuff,
he may not be a great leader or a great performer
it need lots of hard work in order to be a great person
talent is not the main issue in life though it does matters
but what really really matters is the hard work that
you put into doing your stuff and practising makes perfect

Reflections:
On the nite of the movie screening, i learn many things from the show drumline and yeah also hav fun with friends in the room and ya so fun and also on the day when we went to Terminal 3, we learn hw to take care of the elderly and hw to buy food for them or so then yeah overall, this camp also quite interesting will more friends joining and if i am the one planning, i will try to make this whole camp interesting by going somewhere all ppl will like and cooling area and also do things that will make the elderly like it

Reflection to CHANGI AIRPORT TERMINAL 3

1) I have learned that I have difficulties communicating with the elderly. It is also very uncomfortable walking beside somebody that I don't even know who the person is.

2) I have learned that most of my friends are very friendly to the elderly throughout the whole journey at Changi Airport.

3) I have learned that cooperation is needed in the trip. The students have to cooperate with the teachers, parent support group and the CCA chairman. We also need to cooperate by not going anywhere we want to go without any permission.

4) I would like to have a cleaning work at elderly’s house. That way, we can help the elderly so that the elderly do not need to do too much work.

5) I would have the trip longer and have more games that involves the student and the elderly. I will also make a trip to all the terminals if the trip is to Changi Airport.

Review about the movie
the movie was good as it is related to band.. the guy was so interested in music and he is so talented in music that he perform so well in the concert as well as in the competition.. But the chief was happy about him as he added something new into that concert..

Review about the changi termintor 3
we bought some elderly to changi termintor 3, they were so excited about it.. they are quite friendly and quite "open". we play some games with them like Bingo.. they were excited about the games and the prizes that are going to given out to them.. after their lunch, we bought them to fairprice to buy something they want.. after all this, we finally can go home.. it is quite fun to bring the elderly out with us..

Outing to Changi Airport

The outing to the C.A. was a very heart-warming one and meaningful experience to me . The elderly people were very enthu and hyper about the outing as they were looking forward to it. For some of them as we learnt, it was also their first visit to the airport as they were never brought here. They participated actively in the game & they always looked on the bright side of life even when they felt down. We had lots of fun ourselves too as we interacted with them to play Bingo. When they won the prizes, they were also very delighted. There were smiles on everyones' faces which meant that they loved the outing and our hardwork paid off. Interacting with them allowed me to learn more about them and their stories were also very interesting. Above all, they were also very chatty and talkative but they just wanted a listening ear. &They found our ears right for them.
They also didnt seem to mind the generation gap but talked with us as though we were their friends.
We are honoured though :D! Even though there were some things I would have been able to do better as i reflect on, i think that i tried my best and they enjoyed themselves. Overall, the outing was worthwhile and we look forward to another outing with them again like they do(:

Anyway, just a short post.

Next week, we will be going to AMK blk 203 to see see look look.

In 2006, we organised a celebration for the elderly there to celebrate lantern festivals.

Anyway, i've gotten all of you to sign up in this blog,

so whatever activities we have, i will expect a short reflection from ALL OF YOU!

Okay,i'm back to sort of let you know how i feel after reading your reflection.

Firstly,i read through the camp reflection by Qing Yuan.

Overall,you had expressed out how you personally feels,saying that you don't like the zoo blar blar blar,that's very good.However,i guess you can elaborate more right?you are good at expressing yourself by typing out by not when you are outside ya.

Then is the Sec 1 registration reflection.

You did not have any problems at all doing the duties.Very Good! Wow,that's marvellous huh,stumbled out,not climbed out.Nice One,aha,okay,thou there's mistakes made,means you guys next year (if there's chance to do again), you guys cannot make the same mistakes.and as per reflected,Mr Sim briefed all of us,hence if there's any part all of you dunno,should ask. if still dunno,should ask till you know yar!Overall not bad.Keep it up with the good work,i can sense that you are getting more and more enthu in the CCA after what i told all of you last time.Very good.

Glad that you girls are always in the learning attitude thou most of you may not know some dialect,it's not your fault,do not feel bad.I hope after this camp,all the activities will be more and more interesting planned and carried out. It's alright to make mistakes,I DO make mistakes too even thou i am your chairlady.Becuz we are humans.HUMANS do make mistakes,am i right,Mrs Pang?And i'm always glad that Mrs. Pang is there to direct me whenever i make mistakes and guide me back to the correct path.Reflecting back my 3 years in Yuying,Mrs. Pang is always there to guide me and teach me.So,do not feel bad when u make mistakes,you must feel more of a fulfill as you know that you will learn something at the end of the day.

Overall,i feel that all of you seems to have grow up and be more enthu in CCA,thou some of you may still late slightly and slack and lazy-ing around.But i sees some slight improvement.Very good people! I Hope all of you will strive better and bring SLC to a greater height next year and so on.Good job people.Our last activity, Blood donation drive before we end the year.Strive for the best as much as we can.

I feel still ok for the Sec 1 Registeration.. but quite blur in it.. all the thing need senior help and always write the wrong information.. like the time and the number.. but when get used to it,it ok.. The Sec 1 Registeration was quite tired but was fun.. because I re-call when I first came in to register and saw the senior doing the same thing as us and never gumble,so I must learn from them.. After the Sec 1 Registeration,we went back to eagle's nest and "rest"..

the sec registration is relaxing n easy 2 do but need to wake up so early so tiring .

so on the 21 dec early morn, i stumbled out of my bed
to prepare to go to skl sacrificing my slp.
Lols, there wasnt only me. Got others toos.
all the prefects were all ready and were being briefed.
so was like woah they are fast. -_-"
Eagerly preparing for the registration.
as put by mr sim, we were so called the ambassadors :x
had to make them feel welcome and at home
as they would encounter us first then our frends.
we help to give out the numbers and form for them to fill up.
i was in charge of 1A :DD
i owe apologises to two people. feel so guiltly.
maybe next time when they realise it's me :]
made some mistakes due to some misunderstanding btween us.
then everything went all.
volleyballers came and helped us.
saw lots of xinghua juniors.
i only manage see one gal frm my pri skl.
& one nepalese who want transfer.
overall it was fun and a whole new experience for us.
as we tried to make them feel welcome to the skl,
even though we sometimes failed due to our restlessness and enthusiam.
so yeah and hoped they sort of liked and loved the skl
& cant wait for orientation even though hate the thought of skl starting
it really going to be fun,

I felt that the camp is fun and interesting.it benefit us a lots as we can learn what is indenpendent and learn to takecare of ourself.The first day of camp is to bring the elderly to the zoo to explored.. At first i felt ok but the problem with me is that i cannot speak cantonese well enough.. so try to speak and i have learn a lots of things from this camp.. After the visit to the zoo, we had to bring the elderly back to their "second" home.. i felt relief as one fo my senior guild me along during the visit to the zoo.but we really had a great time with the elderly though is raining and we felt tired..but to me it worth for all this though i was tired.. The next day,we had a game call the "water bomb" it's fun but without Camilla they all.. the game is boring.. That night,we had BBQ session in sch..Qing Yuan and I suppose to help out but in the end,all the things is done by Dale though we only done some.. i really do enjoy this filled with fun,interesting and wonderful camp..

SLC CAMP(:

the camp was fun. through the different activities organised and played by us, we learnt about teamwork,cooperation,preserverance and many other things by working and helping each other. we went through the sorrows and happiness together as a grp. the worst thing would be bathing in the gals' toilet at night too much insects that we had to bathe at the staff toilet, wahahas ;D the best thing would be perhaps, cooking our own chicken wings. some cooked if you're lucky but mostly uncooked. & yeah not forgetting special thanks to Mrs VALERIE ANG for the pizzas for lunch(: if i'm not wrong and mrs pang.

VISIT TO THE ST LULE'S first of all, i was the first one to reach there. i'm so proud of myself; impressive. i wasnt late like usual. hahas lols. not counting the words,i hope. dont know what to write cux didnt do much things. we did pastry making at kitchen put the pizza in the oven. wash up the things. help the others. yeah, that all i did. pathetic,? but at least i did something, can then me and thavan went to help Mrs Ang then had to rush back for work, so didnt get to go the home. missed out the cool things at the home. like chatting with the residents and many others. that's all, folks. guess i wrote like in my blog. hahas lols. anybody cares, byes

i have learn to be independent. i dislike t0 go to the z00 it is very smelly and it is raining while admiring the animals,the z00 is the place i dislike the most,not because of the rain bt the place....and i disllike the school toilet because there's lots of pests like e.g.lizards and many more i like the BBQ because it is very fun BBQ the food and it is time we are going home! the overall camp is not bad.. the visit 2 the st luke eldercare is fun we c00k lots of foods for theelderly there, some are very happy seeing us coming !the elderly is very friendly....the elderly are very nice ,when i see them eating the foods we cook,they are very happy and delighted.they say the food is very nice ,they like it very much....the food is very nice!

SLC Camp 07

SLC camp is over and i'm back to upload some pictures which i got..

Day 1

We went to the zoo together with the elderly of Kheng Chiu Happy Lodge and 30 NPCC cadets with 3 teachers-in-charge. That made up 40 of us and 3 teachers-in-charge and 38 elderly plus 2 staff from Kheng Chiu Hapy Lodge. After the 3 hours in zoo,we sent the elderly back to kheng chiu happy lodge. Our SMC chairman, Mr Wong sent his regards to us in bus. During our journey back to school, I believe most of us are exhausted till we fell into dreamland. Then we went back to eagles nest and did our reflection.In the meanwhile, I've also set a few ground rules as well as the members.Then, Mrs. Pang brought us out for dinner.

Day 2

Workshop ,games and planning.Not forgetting our BBQ where the parents and Seniors joined us in! I'm proud to say that you guys have achieve the camp objectives by bringing the elderly to the zoo visit,where you guys have show concern for the elderly by trying to interact with them(though not many of you know dialect), bringing them for their lunch and got them their food, that shows that you guys care for the elderly yar...Not forgetting when i'm keep stopping to wait for all of you to keep quiet where Dale tried to keep all of you quiet.( He's influential enough)Also, the girls have fun playing when we suppose to be sleeping and the girls was keep laughing thru out.And the games where all of you played putting your limbs in different number boxes.
